Greenpeace has launched a global campaign calling on the toy industry, most notably Mattel , the world’s largest toy manufacturer and producer of Barbie dolls, to stop packaging their products with pulp made from destroyed rainforest from Indonesia. The campaign features an angry Ken dumping his girlfriend, Barbie, after realising her packaging comes from destroyed rainforest.

The Tourette Syndrome Foundation and Saathci & Saatchi Canada created the @Random Proyect, with the objective of changing people´s perception about this disease. This disorder is usually asociated to cursing, and this is usually considered it´s distinctive symptom. But Tourette Syndrome is different for each person that suffers it, so this is idea is incorrect and limited. In order to undeline this aspect, they decided to create a documentary that is different each time you watch it. It contains the story of random selected cases of people with this syndrome, created by filmmakers or their own families with flipcams donated by CISCO Systems.

Beer brand McFarland placed its 'pissalyzer' stickers in men's urinals in Milan clubs and bars, so the clients would know when they'd drunk one too many. The message on the heat sensitive sticker was only revealed after 25 seconds of pee - a length of time at the urinal that would only occur if the person relieving themself had drunk more than one pint of beer (the Italian drink-drive limit).

As well as creating buzz for the brand, the stunt saw a 65% increase in consumers hailing cabs at the locations where the stickers were placed.

Self-initiated PSA for Japanese Relief Aid.

On March 11th, a magnitude 8.9 earthquake and subsequent Tsunami and nuclear reactor leaks left Japan devastated. While much has been done to give relief and help to the people of Japan the real work is just beginning. Sometimes we forget that just because an event like this isn't on the front page anymore, the struggle to save and rebuilt lives has passed. IAMSTATIC wanted to create something that can act as a reminder that this disaster is still happening and not a memory.
